Holy cannoli… we finally have a real taste of New York right here in the heart of Chesapeake, VA. If you know, you know: everything tastes better in NY. And they brought it all with them—authentic NY bagels, pastries, silky cream cheeses, the works. Do yourself a favor and go taste it for yourself. One bite and you’ll be ruined (in the best way) for every other bagel spot around.

Highly recommend! Tried the Don, the chicken parm sandwich, a cannoli, and the coffee crumb cake. All were a 10/10. Everything truly tasted fresh and delicious. This place deserves major hype!

First time eating here, and I intend to make it a weekly visit. The owner and young lady behind the counter were so friendly and helpful. Next time i will get their names.. A friend and I were asked to sample the pastrami..melt in your mouth delicious ! The offerings on the menu look so mouth watering that it was hard to choose..I chose one on the daily special board that had ham, cheese. Hash brown, and a jalapeño cream cheese..CHEF'S KISS ! They gave us a sample of their homemade crumbs cake..SO GOOD you will Wana slap somebody. I encourage yall to please visit this gem of an eatery right near the Locks Bridge

I recently did my first trip to New York City and had all kinds of delicious food up there. I can say with complete certainty that no bagel will top New York Bagel Company. I feel pretty fortunate and lucky to have these guys 3 miles up the road from me. Today I tried the Empire State, and their pastrami was the most tender and flavorful I’ve ever had. Absolutely massive and filling bagel sandwich. I wish I took a picture, but as soon as I opened it, I got down to business and before I knew it I was done and left smiling. Their bagels have a perfect outside crust texture and inside chew that’s literally addicting. Thank you Charlie, and to the team there that’s always been super welcoming. Cheers!

Was going to go to Einsteins but decided to search bagels near me instead and New York bagel co popped up. Thought, why not let’s give it a try. It was a Sunday morning around 9 walked in and there wasn’t an open table, and maybe 4 people in line in Front of me. Line went quick, ordered my food, took my ticket and waited patiently. While waiting, I watched pizza go by, and fresh home made cannolis. Well, guess pizza and cannolis for breakfast it is, because it looked amazing! A short 5 minute wait and I was on my way. Everyone I spoke to in this establishment was an absolute pleasure to speak with. Bagels were fresh, ingredients were top of the line, and pizza is to die for. We will definitely be coming back not only for the food. But to support a local mom and pop bagel shop! Keep up the good work guys!

We have been coming here almost weekly for the past year because they have the best bagels, sandwiches & pastrami you will ever find in VA! The owners and staff are all so amazing & we love that it feels like a home away from home Pictured are 2 of our favorites- The Don & the L-train.
